The Founder
The Founder and Poet, Vengie Holloman-McMillan, discovered her gift and love for writing at an early age.As an ambassador for Christ, she allows God to express Himself through the beauty of His creation, in the form
of poetry and fine art products. Our products display messages and scriptures purposed to bless, encourage,
and reconcile mankind back to God. "Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us:
we pray you in Christ's stead, be ye reconciled to God.”

Vengie voices her spirit, by writing, based on personal and environmental experiences. Then teaming with some of the greatest artists in the industry, to
produce artwork that illustrates her message. Some of her most recent poems
are: "Your Stylist Hands", "Healing for God's Children", "Ambassador for Christ",
Father's Authority", "Peculiar Child of God", and "She Shall Bring Forth". Vengie
treasures this opportunity to share her gift with you. Hopefully, you are inspired
and affirmed by her determination, commitment and faith.
The Company
The company was established in January of 2007 to create something constructive
and positive after the tragic experience of having a love one brutally murdered. It
was important to me that my sister Geni's, name, and service in the community be remembered by her community members and her spirit never forgotten. It was also important for me to connect with the power within to triumphantly overcome and find glory in this most difficult circumstance. I wanted to positively contribute in the community, and accomplish both goals. I pondered, relentlessly, until October of 2006.
Each Thanksgiving season from 2001 until 2006, I got very emotional thinking
about how blessed I was to have spent quality time grocery shopping and cooking with my sister during her last Thanksgiving. There were many attempts prior to
2006 to write about Geni's incident, but while reliving the events, the thoughts of
the devestation made it difficult to finish. However, in October of 2006, I fasted and prayed for a way of escape from this mental emotional and spiritual bondage.
During this period of consecration and a routine visit with my stylist, "something happened". While sitting admiring the service that she was giving to other customers,
I thought about my sister's service, the service that individuals in the Beauty Industry give to their customers and how we are to be our brother's keeper (looking out for each other's safety). As a result, the poem for the beauty industry's, awareness and crime prevention efforts,"Your Stylist Hands", was birthed. Also, in this season of writing to gain freedom through the strength of my higher power, I was able to rise above and overcome emotionally rough places to complete Geni's Documentary. I was transformed and my passion for writing, I once discovered in middle school,
had been restored.
In December of 2006, we produced our first product, 2007 "Your Stylist Hands" calendars, and launched them in January. We have expanded our product line to include the "Your Stylist Hands" poem, framed and unframed, as well as, a "Your Stylist Hands" painting which presents a vivid portrait of beauty industry entrepreneurs, also, framed and unframed.
